Watford Wellbeing Coordinator shortlisted for The Activity Coordinator Award at the Great British CaMaisie Ali, Wellbeing Coordinator, at HC-One’s River Court care home in Watford, Hertfordshire, a 120-bed residential, nursing and dementia care home, has been shortlisted for The Activity Coordinator Award Category at the Great British Care Awards 2022 for the East of England region.

The nomination for the award is in recognition of her hard work and kind care shown to Residents, Relatives and Colleagues as well as the dedication and passion Masie shows every day to ensure the Residents she supports, receive the best quality care.

Maisie was nominated for this award for the continual hard-work she demonstrates daily and how she ensures Residents Wellbeing is the at the heart of everything that is done. She plans, organises and supervises the events at River Court which include gathering and day trips which enhance the quality of life of the Residents in the care home. Maisie also arranges guest speakers, entertainers and handles all of the on-site logistics during events. Along with the activities, Maisie also promotes social interactions, orientation, and intellectual stimulation. She will also provide Residents who are either confined or choose to remain in their rooms with in-room activities and one-to-one experiences.

The awards are a series of regional events throughout the UK and are a celebration of distinction across the care sector. The awards pay tribute to those who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their area of work.
