Joan, Resident at River Court, made the decision that she would like to take a trip into London for some sight-seeing, as well as to do some shopping.
Colleague of the home, Maisie, listened to Joan’s request, and accompanied her in visiting London, where the pair were able to see many sights, including Joan’s favourite – Buckingham Palace.
On the beautifully sunny day, Joan enjoyed taking photographs outside of the palace with Maisie, and taking in the extravagance of the building as well as many other of London’s picturesque sights.
Alongside this, Joan decided she wanted to visit the shops, specifically, Fortnum and Mason, in which she purchased items for future occasions.
Joan enjoyed the day, as she remarked: “I would certainly like to go back again soon.” As the home hope to be able to take more Residents in the future.
