Watford Care Home Celebrate Summer Fete Which Raises £300HC-One’s River Court Care Home in Watford recently celebrated a Summer Fete in the home, with around 70 people from the local community attending the home to celebrate alongside Residents and Relatives.

A variety of stalls were put in place, with entertainment for attendees to enjoy. Deputy Mayor of Watford, Karen Collett, also attended the home as she socialised with Residents and their families and praised the care home for all that they do.

Activities were enjoyed by all and live music entertainment meant everyone could get up and dance to their favourite music. In total, the event raised £300 which will go towards the Residents’ comfort fund,  which will help towards funding any further activities for Residents.

Bijoy Philip, Home Manager, commented: “Today has been such a memorable day as all Residents enjoyed themselves. It is always wonderful to see them enjoying themselves and nothing is better than seeing them with smiles on their faces.”
