This month was one of our wonderful Resident’s birthday, Sidney, who is more commonly known around Waterside care home as ‘Sid’, so we thought we would make the day that little bit special for him.
Sarah, Sid’s Carer, helped to decorate the home with balloons and banners. A birthday cake was also made for him as well as organising phone calls from Relatives. Then everyone sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to Sid which he really enjoyed.
Residents commented that they loved the cake most of all.
Home Manager: Amanda Rowley, remarked, “It was a lovely day and a very nice surprise for Sid.”
