Residents at HC-One’s Waterside care home were delighted as they received a visit from the local sea cadets on Monday 14th October.
The sea cadets joined Residents and Colleagues at the home as they offered a food hamper donation for all to enjoy, before spending time with each of the Residents.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves as they spent the evening laughing and chatting amongst themselves, discussing their lives.
One Resident in particular, Laura, was so pleased with the evening and remarked on how surprised she was.
Amanda Rowley, home manager, commented: “The visit was lovely, everyone really enjoyed their evening and it was so nice for the cadets to come and see the Residents.”
