Warrington care home choir hitting the high notesResidents and visitors at HC-One’s Birch Court in Warrington are coming together on a weekly basis to practice as a group in the home’s new and very popular choir.

The Wellbeing team at Birch Court organised a choir group, which has proven to be a very popular weekly activity for both Residents and visitors to the home. Everyone gathers to enjoy a good singalong followed by a chance to catch up and enjoy a refreshment or two.

The choir is helping people to get to know each other while enjoying a new hobby or favourite pastime for some. Birch Court choir welcomes new members and also encourages people to request their favourite songs, which are all happily performed by the group.

Catherine Haycock, Home Manager at Birch Court commented:

“For everyone, the choir is a way to bring back happy memories, from school performances to first wedding dances.

“It’s a pleasure to the smiles on Residents faces as they perform as a group, the choir is great way to bring people together and has a positive impact on the wellbeing of everyone involved.”
