Walton-on-Thames care home Residents enjoy private cinema experienceHC-One’s Adelaide House in Walton-on-Thames recently purchased equipment to provide private cinema experiences for Residents with limited mobility.

The private cinema ensures that all Residents, no matter their mobility or preferences can enjoy their favourite films in any language. The cinema has already proved to be a popular addition to the home, with several Residents choosing to watch a film or two in the bedroom.

Michael Rodgers watched ‘Rush’ and commented on how much he enjoyed watching a film and asked when he can have the cinema in his room again.

Ursula Lodge watched ‘Madam, Ich bin ein Elefant’ in German, her native language and said:

“Thank you so much – having a film in my language is very, very enjoyable. It makes me feel good.”

Adelaide House Home Manager, Tracy Lazell commented:

“The private cinema is such a lovely idea, the Residents are really happy that they can now enjoy their favourites on the big screen from their comfort of their room.”
