Residents at HC-One’s Ash Grange care home enjoyed a walk to their local shops, after deciding to make the most of the lovely spring weather.
One Resident in particular, John, enjoyed the walk as he sang along to himself, admiring his surroundings and chatting about his life at work before retirement.
John was delighted as he chose his newspaper in the shop and purchased himself a selection of sweets to take back to the home and enjoy as a treat.
Anita Horton, home manager, commented: “This is a regular trip out for Colleagues to make, and it was lovely to see Residents decide they would like to join and enjoy their own walk out.”
