Ash Grange Home is celebrating having received a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The team at Ash Grange were delighted to have received an impressive CQC report that rated the home as ‘Good’ in all areas, demonstrating that the home is providing high standards of care for Residents, demonstrating that the home is Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsible, and Well-Led.
The inspectors were full of praise for colleagues Ash Grange, highlighting the kind ways in which they provide care for Residents at the home. This sentiment was echoed by Residents, who made remarks such as "staff are brilliant, they do their best and can't do any more they are golden." and "I feel safe, there is always someone around.” Relatives also remarked “I have never been happier with the care as I am now.”
Inspectors commented on the level of support that was provided to Residents to ensure they were able to take part in activities and hobbies they enjoyed, especially through the use of a daily ‘stop the clock’ activity in which staff would stop their tasks to take part in activities with Residents.
To celebrate this great achievement, colleagues at Ash Grange held a party for everyone to enjoy, with entertainment provided as well as a home-made buffet which was prepared for the event.
