Residents at HC-One’s Ash Grange Care Home recently made the most of the sunshine as they enjoyed a party in the home’s garden.
Relatives and friends attended to celebrate alongside the Residents as they all enjoyed a BBQ whilst their favourite music played, and stalls were displayed which included a tombola, a table top sale and a cake sale for some delicious sweet treats.
Activities took place such as a raffle and a ‘name the bear’ game, which everyone enjoyed getting involved in. Residents thoroughly enjoyed themselves as they took part in activities and especially enjoyed the BBQ. The event ended with friends from the local church choir singing to everyone.
The event raised £149 to go towards the Resident’ comfort fund. Anita Horton, Home Manager, commented: “everyone has thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it was lovely to see Residents enjoying spending time with family and friends.”
