Residents at HC-One’s Oaklands care home enjoyed a walk in the park recently as they decided to start a ‘walking club’ in the home.
The sun was shining and conversation flowing, as Residents and some Colleagues took a walk around the park recently to begin their new walking club venture.
Everyone spoke about the beautifully coloured flowers in the park, and laughed as they recalled the times they would play in the parks as children.
Residents are excited as they now have a walking club to partake in, which will assist with fitness and wellbeing.
Stephanie Massey, Home Manager, commented: “Everyone is enjoying the walking club, this afternoon’s walk was a wonderful start.”
