Daneside Court is supporting the national Volunteers Week campaign, and reminding community members that care homes provide rewarding voluntary placements.
The HC-One home located in Northwich encourages individuals to visit and can offer a number of volunteering options from supporting with activities and befriending residents to helping out in the garden or kitchen.
Volunteering provides the opportunity to gain valuable work experience, or to simply make a difference in the community.
The campaign takes place from 1-7 June every year and is aimed to celebrate volunteering in all its diversity.
Daneside Court are lucky enough to have Denise and Margaret who support the homes wellbeing coordinator Sharon Lelonck with the homes extensive wellbeing programme.
Residents presented both ladies with a bouquet of seasonal flowers to show their appreciation for all the help and support the ladies provide.
Daneside Court offers short and long term care to elderly members of the community needing Residential and Nursing Care.
