Residents can enjoy dancing every day at HC-One’s Grampian Court care home in Peterlee.
The home calls the activity ‘Stop the Clock’ and Residents are encouraged to dance, sing and even play musical instruments.
One Resident commented: “We all look forward to Stop the Clock. As soon as I hear music I come out of my room to join in.”
Stop the Clock is excellent exercise for Residents, and Colleagues even join in with the fun as well.
It’s a fun activity that is great for physical health but also promotes good mental wellbeing as Residents can socialise with a group and have a bit of fun.
Grampian Court Home Manager, Emma Hume, said: “It’s great to see our Residents joining in and having fun.”
