Residents at Stamford Court care home in Stalybridge enjoyed a star-studded performance from singing group Vintage Pearls as the home marked Remembrance Day.
As a way of paying their respects to those affected by the war, many people living and working at the home took a two minute silence, before welcoming Vintage Pearls to Stamford Court.
As the group performed in the home, Residents sang and danced along to a number of classic war-time songs, as many shared memories of growing up during the Second World War.
Once the performance had come to an end, Residents and Colleagues gave a huge round of applause and commented on how amazing the vocals were.
One Resident commented: “The group had wonderful voices and were a very good choice for Remembrance Day.”
