Llys Newydd care home in Capel Hendre, Carmarthenshire was delighted to host a vintage afternoon tea for Residents and their loved ones.
Families and friends were invited to attend, with Residents designing and creating the vintage-themed, handmade invitations.
The dining room was decorated beautifully for the occasion, with bunting and floral decorations, and the afternoon tea was served in the home’s finest china. Residents and their families enjoyed a peaceful catch up over dainty sandwiches, scones and cakes.
One Resident commented: “The vintage-style afternoon tea was amazing. The decorations were beautiful and the sweet treats were the best I’ve ever had.”
Catrin Hooper, Home Manager at Llys Newydd, said: “Everyone had a lovely afternoon. It was great to see families sharing a relaxing afternoon together, with an added touch of luxury and magic.”
