HC-One's St James Park Care Home, in Bridport, Dorset, is preparing to welcome Reverend Janice Moore for their annual Easter celebration, continuing a beloved tradition that has spanned over ten years.
The upcoming service, scheduled to take place at the care home, will bring together residents of all faiths for a celebration centred on themes of life, kindness, and friendship.
Reverend Moore, who has been providing spiritual services at St James Park for more than a decade, is known for her engaging approach that includes visual prompts to illustrate Bible readings, making the experience accessible for all residents.
Alongside parishioner Janet, she creates an atmosphere of joy and community connection that residents and visitors look forward to each year.
Reflecting on her many years of service, Reverend Moore said:
"My visits can help residents feel connected to the broader community, fostering a sense of belonging. I'm very happy to support St James Park, residents, relatives, staff for over a decade. We feel like a big family."
HC-One's St James Park Care Home emphasises that the Easter service is designed to be inclusive, welcoming both Christians and non-Christians alike.
This approach has contributed to the popularity of Reverend Moore's services, which consistently draw strong attendance from the care home community.
Mihaela Barbulescu, HC-One’s St James Park Care Home Manager, shared:
"We are very lucky here at St James Park to have our long-standing vicar Janice Moore who helps us celebrate Easter every year.”
