Staff at Stoneyford care home in Sutton-in-Ashfield organised a romantic gesture to help Residents celebrate Valentine’s Day.
The wellbeing team contacted Residents and their families to see if they were able to get photos of Residents’ weddings, which were displayed on a Valentine’s board in the home for everyone to see.
There was a real buzz in the home, as everyone enjoyed reminiscing about their love stories and guessing who was who in the photos.
Des Peppard, a Resident at Stoneyford, said: “It’s so nice to be able to be able to share memories with each other from the Valentine’s Day board.”
Keeley Morris, Home Manager, said: “Stoneyford is feeling the love, and our Valentine’s Day board has created such a talking point amongst Residents and our staff. Everyone has expressed their love for the initiative, and want to keep it up as long as we can so we can continue adding more photos.”
