Valentines fun for Stamford Court Love was in the air for Residents at Stamford Court Care Home as they enjoyed celebrating Valentines Day with a variety of love themed activities.

Colleagues at the HC-One care home, located in Stalybridge wanted Residents to have an extra special day and put on a male vocalist who sang a variety of old love songs that the Residents knew and loved.

The singer then gave the Residents a red rose whilst he was performing to make them feel really special. There was lots of singing, smiles and dancing all round!

The room was lovingly decorated with Red roses and heart balloons and the Residents and their relatives thoroughly enjoyed the chocolates and champagne that was laid on for them.

Old and young celebrate the annual holiday, often referred to as the Feast of Saint Valentine, across the world.

Bobbie Wright, Care Home Manager at HC-One’s Stamford Court commented:
“The home looked beautiful, it was lovely seeing the residents all enjoying the male vocalist!”

Elizabeth Lancaster, Resident, remarked:
“The singer was just fabulous!”
