Uxbridge care home receives 365 days pressure ulcer free awardHC-One’s The Harefield care home in Uxbridge recently received an award for 365 days pressure ulcer free as part of the ‘Stop the Pressure’ campaign. 

The ‘Stop the Pressure’ campaign was originally launched by NHS Midlands and East as part of their ambition to make life better for patients. The campaign is now being rolled out nationally to coordinate and support a sustained reduction in pressure ulcer prevalence over a period of 2 years.

The award was presented to the team at The Harefield by Deputy Director of Nursing, Collette Conway alongside Tissue Viability nurses for Central and North West London NHS. 

The Harefield Home Manager, Jaya Dhillon said:
