Unexpected flying visitor at Romford care homeChaseview care home Residents and Colleagues received a surprise visit recently when a local swan flew into the garden.

Paul, the gardener was tending to the garden, planting seeds when all of a sudden, a swan flew into the garden. All Colleagues heard the bird land and worried it may be hurt, but were able to check it was of good health, and provided bowls of water for it.

Once the swan had explored the garden, Colleagues took him back to his nearby chase with Residents looking on with amused expressions.

Arnold Pariag, Home Manger, commented: “It was amusing for everyone as the swan randomly appeared in the garden and decided to explore the surroundings. Thankfully, it was returned home safely though.”
