Ukulele band is a hit at Ilsom HouseIlsom House care home in Tetbury was alive with the sound of music as a talented ukulele band performed for Residents and their loved ones.

The band covered a range of songs from the 1950s and 60s, with many Residents singing, clapping and dancing along to the music.

The band’s upbeat energy lit up the room at Ilsom House, as the performers even had Colleagues and a Resident to join in with playing the instruments.

Tea and coffee was enjoyed by all in the half time interval, as Residents discussed their favourite songs that had been played so far.

One Resident commented: “It was really lovely listening to their music, it brought back a lot of memories.”

The entertainment was such a success that Ilsom House has already booked the band again in December for a festive performance.
