Twiddlemuffs donated to Leicester care homeTwo volunteers from the Inner Wheel Club in Oadby donated Twiddlemuffs for Residents with dementia at HC-One’s Harley Grange care home in Leicester.

Twiddlemuffs, are knitted, crocheted or fabric tubes with accessories such as ribbons and buttons sewn on to them. For many people with dementia, Twiddlemuffs help to ease agitation and calm the person’s mood, as they can keep their hands and minds occupied.

As a thank you for their kind gesture, Harley Grange has invited the volunteers to come along to their next coffee morning to meet the Residents that will be using their Twiddlemuffs.
