Trips out on the home’s minibus for Amerind Grove ResidentsOver the last month of August, Residents at Amerind Grove care home, in Ashton, have been out and about visiting Bristol on the home’s minibus and what a wonderful time everyone had!

Colleagues at the 106-bed nursing and dementia care home, Kay, Maria and Tasha, accompanied Residents for a trip to Bristol Zoo, The M Shed Museum, walking around the city docks, and having a nice sit down at Blaise Castle for a coffee.

The group also travelled further afield to the coastal town of Clevedon for the day, which is around a 25-minute drive from the home. Residents indulged in some delicious fish and chips on the promenade and then visited the riverside garden centre.

One of the Residents involved in the trips said, “(I am) happy to get out and about!”

Kay Morrison, Wellbeing Coordinator, commented, “All of the Residents that have gone out in our minibus over the last month have really enjoyed themselves. We’ve had some fantastic trips!”
