Town Mayor attends Beaconsfield Court care home eventHC-One’s Beaconsfield Court Care Home in Barnard Castle, County Durham welcomed new Home Manager Laura Langridge with help from the Town Mayor, Sandra Moorhouse.

Residents and the team at Beaconsfield Court arranged a Meet the Manager event to welcome Laura into her new post and showered her with flowers, a bottle of prosecco and a cake.

Sandra Moorhouse was given a tour of the home and was introduced to all of the Residents, who she spent time chatting to on an individual basis.

Local friends, Charles Dickens Lodge, Grove Park and neighbouring hoses were invited to help celebrate and entertainer, Mark Carter, helped everyone get into the party spirit with Residents enjoying a dance or two.

A cake stall, tombola and an engraved glass stool ran by Joan and Lawrence Staley were also a treat for everyone involved.

Beaconsfield Court’s Home Manager, Laura Langridge commented:

“I feel very proud to be part of the HC-One team. The Residents, visitors, staff and myself had a lovely day.
