Each Monday a group of Nursery children from Tots and Tykes Nursery join Acacia Court care home for games, activities and crafts.
Residents love when the children visit and look forward to it each week.
The latest visits included jigsaw puzzles, dot to dots, word searches and even a trip to the local park where Residents and the children looked at animals, played hide-and-seek and sang in the bandstand.
Before the children leave each week, everyone settles down for milk and cookies.
Home manager, Helen commented:
“The visit is much loved each week by our Residents who really look forward to spending time with the children. They always say the time goes too fast!”
