Not only did Aberford Hall Resident Tommy turn 75 this year, but has also lived at Aberford Hall for 21 years!
Colleagues at the home decided to invite his brother, Pat, and his favourite entertainer, Stuart The Music Man, to celebrate with him with an extra special party.
Tommy enjoys music so the home blew up a variety of inflatable instruments and Residents enjoyed being able to ‘play along’ with the music.
The walls were decorated with photographs of Tommy throughout the years, the care team used Tommy’s favourite colours, green & red, to decorate the dining area and party guests were served some delicious food and drink.
Everyone really enjoyed the afternoon and Tommy’s brother was blown away with the effort made by staff.
Tommy said
“Man alive yes!!” when asked if he had a good time.
