Families came together to celebrate Father’s Day at HC-One’s Waterside care home in Tipton as Residents were treated to a professional photo shoot with their loved ones.
Staff at Waterside wanted to recognise the influential men in Residents’ lives, whether that be fathers, sons, uncles, brothers and even close friends, who helped shape who they are and support them throughout difficult times.
In celebration of Father’s Day, Heidi Scott, Home Manager at Waterside, put her professional photography skills into action to organise a special photo shoot for Residents and their Relatives.
Everyone dressed up in their finest clothing for the shoot, before enjoying an afternoon of singing and dancing along to some classic hits.
One Resident commented: “I can’t remember the last time me and my husband had our picture taken together. The kids will really treasure this”, while another added: “My grandchildren will have something to remember me by.”
Heidi said: “At HC-One, we make every effort to celebrate Residents’ special occasions in the most kind and caring way possible. It was a real pleasure to be able to take these photos, as they symbolise some beautiful memories that families will be able to treasure forever.”
Located on Dudley Road, Waterside offers short and long term care packages for older members of the community needing nursing care. The home is also celebrating achieving a 9.7/10 average rating on the sectors leading comparison website, carehome.co.uk.
