Time for tea as Dingle Meadow care home Residents celebrate St. Andrew’s DayCelebrations were had at HC-One’s Dingle Meadow care home, as Residents and Relatives joined together to enjoy a tea party for St. Andrew’s Day.

Residents took part in colouring activities in which they coloured in flags, and spoke with one another about the significance of the day, prompting them to recollect memories of holidays spent in Scotland with friends and Relatives.

To enjoy the occasion, the home held an afternoon tea for Residents and Relatives to enjoy, including delicious home made cakes and treats, as well as entertainment in the form of a sing-along.

Everyone sang along to their favourite songs which brought many a fond memory to Residents of their younger days.

The home was decorated with balloons and banners to surprise the Residents, and the party was enjoyed by all. Emma Cuttress, home manager, commented: “Everyone has really enjoyed themselves today, reminiscing about their younger days and celebrating with Relatives.”
