TicTacToe Stop cheating Mo Fun from The Newlands care homeRelatives homemade games have gone down exceptionally well at The Newlands care home, although we can’t say that Residents played by the rules.

A Relative kindly made a memory and Tic Tac Toe game out of bottle tops for use at The Newlands care home in order to give people something extra to do during the time we are so restricted socially. So Residents Mo and Marj were the first to try it out recently in the Oak Lounge and had so much fun that we just had to share it with you.

Newlands Colleagues Geoff and Pauline spectated the game and allegedly Mo was cheating at the memory game and turning over the ‘4’ and ‘5’ when Marj was not looking. The staff commented, “We had so much fun laughing that it hurt!”

“Stop Cheating Mo” was quite clearly the quote of the day from Resident Marj.

Another bundle of laughter that has come out of lockdown.

How wonderful and simple was the idea to make the game out of bottle tops!
