Swallownest care home in Sheffield was delighted to welcome Thunder the Therapy Husky to the home to pay a visit to its Residents.
Thunder and his handler Adrian visited each Resident in the home, who were delighted to get the chance to stroke and cuddle him.
The visit helped put a smile on Residents’ faces, especially as it triggered memories for those who used to have pet dogs in the past.
One Resident commented: “I absolutely loved meeting Thunder. He was so soft and calming.”
The Home Manager commented: “It was really amazing to see the reaction of our Residents to Thunder. Everyone enjoyed the visit and already can’t wait for him to visit us again.”
