In May 2022, at
Seabrook Manor care home, in Essex, which offers nursing and dementia care, three Residents marked their 100th, 102nd and 103rd birthdays with lots of celebrations.
Mrs May (102), Mrs Joan (103) and Mr Albert, were delighted to all celebrate their birthdays with fellow Residents, Relatives and Colleagues. There was much effort put into making their days special including a buffet, cakes and plenty of decorations.
All Residents involved enjoyed being a part of the special celebrations.
Sadly Mr Albert, who lived in Seabrooke Manor for more than three years, passed away shortly after his birthday. Gerard Balo, Care Home Manager, said, “Our condolences to his family, and his loving memory of Albert will be with us.”
Gerard added “Benefits of special events improve communication and engage Residents into a meaningful activity.”
