It’s a real family affair for Marian Blenkinsop, a Resident at HC-One’s Eastbourne House care home in Whitley Bay as her daughter and granddaughter join the team at the home.
Judy Cartledge became a regular visitor to Eastbourne House when her mother, Marian, moved to the home over two years ago, Judy joined the team at Resident Liaison Officer.
Having now worked at Eastbourne House for over a year, Judy said: “It is so nice to be close to my mother and to be able to see her every day and watch over the excellent care she is receiving.
“Being a member of the team and a family member of a Resident enables me to show potential Residents and their loved ones a more unique perspective of Eastbourne House.”
Zoe Payne, daughter of Judy and granddaughter of Marian joined the team at Eastbourne House as Wellbeing Coordinator in June and has already formed friendships with both Residents and her Colleagues.
