Residents HC-One’s Maple Court care home in Stafford received some very special four-legged visitors on Friday 7th June.
Shetland ponies, Small Man and Moomin came to spend some quality time with Residents at Maple Court, the ponies enjoyed a tour of the whole care home, they even visited some Residents in their bedrooms on both floors.
Some Residents and members of the team were amazed that the ponies were able to go in the home’s lift. Residents enjoyed meeting Small Man and Moomin, they said that they were both lovely animals and they hope that they will visit again soon.
Maple Court Home Manager, Hayley Rix commented: “What a lovely visit from Small Man and Moomin, spending time with ponies can be a very therapeutic and relaxing for some of our Residents.”
