Therapy Ponies Scotland paid a visit to the Residents at HC-One’s Murrayfield House Care Home in Edinburgh for the day with two ponies, Herbie and Wilson.
Herbie and Wilson were led around all of the floors to meet as many of our lovely Residents as possible, before being led into a few of the rooms of those who didn’t feel like venturing out.
Everyone enjoyed stroking them and a few Residents even had the ponies resting their heads on their knees, much to their delight.
A great day was had by all with more wonderful memories being made. Residents loved petting the ponies and having them rest their head son their knees, commenting:
“Oh, they are adorable and so lovable.”
Murrayfield House’s Home Manager, Mandy Cooper commented:
“The Residents were really excited with the visits; it was wonderful seeing them getting so involved with the ponies and seeing the big smiles on their faces.”
