Residents at HC-One’s The Hornchurch care home in Hornchurch, Essex are enjoying weekly visits from Pets as Therapy dog, Daisy the Yorkshire Terrier.
Every Friday, Daisy and her owner visit The Hornchurch to spend some quality time with the Residents, everyone loves getting a cuddle of Daisy and giving her some special treats.
Snacks and beverages are provided for both human and canines and everyone shares stories of their favourite pets and animals. Residents now look forward to Daisy’s visits with some commenting that she is lovely and how she reminds some of dogs they had growing up.
