Residents at HC-One’s Chapel Level care home in Kirkcaldy, Fife enjoy regular visits from therapy dog, Mia.
Mia and her owner visit Chapel Level three times a week so that Residents have the opportunity to spend time with her. Some Residents enjoy going for a nice stroll with Mia, while others are happy to get a cuddle or play with her in the home.
Everyone has built a strong connection to Mia during her visits, with some Residents referring to her as the home’s wee mascot, Mia has also helped others to reminisce about pets they had as children and as younger adults.
