Residents at The Willows care home in Hinckley enjoyed a trip to the marina in the spring sunshine.
Everyone enjoyed the trip to the marina pub as they sat outside in the sunshine and chose a selection of cakes and ice creams from the menu.
While sitting by the canal, Residents enjoyed watching boats pass by on the river and got to feed the ducks swimming along next to them.
There were smiles all around as Residents enjoyed their sweet treats, while having a lovely catch up about their day.
Residents commented on how enjoyable their day was, with Angela adding “I loved it. My ice cream was amazing.”
