The Village Care Home enjoys success in Care Inspectorate reportHC-One’s The Village Care Home, is celebrating having received a glowing report from the Care Inspectorate.

The team at The Village Care Home was delighted to have received an impressive Care Inspectorate report that rated the home as “Good” in the two areas that were assessed: Care and Support, and Management and Leadership.

Colleagues at The Village were singled out for particular praise, with the inspectors noting that their kind and caring approach ensured that ‘Residents were relaxed and clearly enjoyed spending time with staff.’ The report also highlighted how colleagues were well trained in providing high quality support to individuals living with dementia, noting that carers possessed the ‘additional skills and knowledge to support residents and promote positive outcomes.’

The Care Inspectorate’s positive feedback was reflected in comments from Residents and their relatives at The Village. Comments about the home included, “I don't think I could change anything to better it”, with another person claiming that they have been “more than happy with the care ever since I came in” to The Village.
