Residents at
St Christopher’s nursing and nursing dementia care home, in Hatfield, have been making their own Christmas decorations.
Some of the Residents on the home’s Johnson House Unit, wanted to make their own Christmas tree decorations this year. Therefore, a group of Residents sat together making small Christmas trees and decorated them with stick-on decorations.
All involved had fun creating different designs that all looked very colourful. Once the trees were finished, they were attached to string and hung from the ceiling.
The Residents were very proud of their effort and now enjoy seeing their work displayed for everyone to see.
One Resident commented, “I enjoyed trying to make the most colourful design.
Fellow Resident Angela added, “It was really lovely seeing everyone make the Christmas trees.”
Patience Mvubu, Care Home Manager, commented, “It was nice to see our Residents sitting together, getting in the Christmas spirit.”
