The Mayor of Wakefield Councillor Kevin Barker joined HC-One’s Snapethorpe Hall Care Home in Wakefield, to celebrate the sixth annual Care Home Open Day on 21st April.
To celebrate in style The Mayor of Wakefield joined the home for afternoon drinks and sang the afternoon away with Residents to local entertainer Linda Stott during the 1940’s style community celebration.
The Mayor was given a tour of the home and met with Residents and colleagues to see first-hand the kind care being delivered.
HC-One Snapethorpe Hall Home Manager, Teresa Taylor said:
“Thank you to all who came and took part in Care Homes Open Day with us, especially to Councillor Kevin Barker the Mayor of Wakefield. We all had a wonderful time sitting and chatting with our neighbours, and also singing and dancing the afternoon away before enjoying afternoon tea together.”
