The Kaleidoscope Choir pay a visit to Redcar care homeResidents at HC-One’s St Peter’s Court, were thrilled as the Kaleidoscope Choir, came to visit the residential and residential dementia care home in Redcar.

As the Residents are always keen to get up and have a little boogie it was a great opportunity for the Kaleidoscope Choir to perform.

The choir set up in the garden so all the Residents were able to hear the lovely music, Residents who were in their rooms were able to listen from their windows and listen to the lovely performance.

All the Residents enjoyed listening, singing along, clapping and dancing to the choir all afternoon. Whilst enjoying the performance the Residents enjoyed a lovely cup of tea and a slice of cake.

The choir brought a smile to all the Residents faces who thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The Residents showed their appreciation by asking the choir to come back and perform again.

The Residents made some lovely comments which included, ‘thank you we loved it’ and ‘please come back again’.

Jamie Stephenson, Care Home Manager, remarked, “One of the favourite activities in the home is music and singing. The Residents love it!”
