A Resident at The Beeches care home in Nottingham has shown off her artistic flair in the HC-One Christmas card competition.
Deb Ward, a Resident at the home, entered the competition with a painting of Christmas trees in a snow-covered landscape.
Although Deb unfortunately did not win the competition, her fellow Residents and staff members at the home wanted to reward her efforts by framing her painting and presenting it to her before the Christmas party.
Deb commented: “What a lovely surprise.”
Anne Upton, Home Manager at The Beeches care home, said: “I was so impressed by Deb’s talent that I wanted to present her artwork back to her.”
