The Beeches gives back to the community this ChristmasThe Beeches care home in Tameside has teamed up with school students to donate festive hampers to those less fortunate.

Residents and staff from the care home collected food donations in the weeks leading up to Christmas and arranged them to create food hampers, which will be donated to the local community over the festive period.

The Beeches worked with local secondary school, Rayner Stephens, who are passing the home’s donations on to the food bank.

One Resident commented: “It was lovely to be able to give something back to the local community in true Christmas spirit.”

Sade, Wellbeing Coordinator at The Beeches, said: “We get involved with the community as much as possible, and what better way than allowing Residents to give back to people in the local area, while working with the lovely staff and pupils at Rayner Stevens.”
