Residents and staff at The Beeches care home in Dunkinfield, which offers residental care, enjoyed a festive period to remember with a range of exciting Deecember activities.
The festive decorations went up as early as 22nd November, but the formal celebration season kicked off with a visit to the home on the 8th December by
Northeast Producers Ltd, and their production of Alice in Wonderland. There was lots of resident and staff involvement, and everyone enjoyed the show.
On the 22nd December the care home held a lively Christmas party, with live entertainment provided by singer
Samantha Jones and her repertoire of classic songs from the 1940s to now.
The main highlight of the festive period was the big Christmas lunch, when residents and staff enjoyed a delicious meal together followed by carol singing.
