Residents and team members at HC-One’s Springfield House care home in Low Fell, Gateshead came together on Sunday 4th July to celebrate their first national Thank You Day.
Thank You Day was established to provide a dedicated time where as a country we can unite to remembering all of the selfless acts and hard work of people to get us through the coronavirus pandemic.
Residents helped to make a little thank you gift for the team members at Springfield House and on Thank You Day they handed the gifts out to the team. Everyone thought it was a lovely gesture and agreed it is a great feeling to be appreciated.
Springfield House Home Manger, Kay Rudd said: “It was an emotional day for everyone at Springfield House, we have all had a challenging year so it’s important to remember the efforts that people went to in times of need.”
Located on Durham Road, Springfield House offers short and long term care for older ladies and gentlemen in Gateshead that require residential care and residential memory care for those living with dementia.
