Thamesfield care home Residents enjoy Henley Royal RegattaHC-One’s Thamesfield Care Home Residents recently enjoyed an afternoon by the river as they caught sight of the Henley Royal Regatta.
 
Established on 26 March 1839, the Henley Royal Regatta is a rowing event held annually on the River Thames by the town of Henley-on-Thames, England. Numerous boats passed by near to the home as Residents were able to catch a glimpse of the final day of the Regatta.
 
Residents from both the Retirement Village and Nursing Home enjoyed a tipple in the afternoon sunshine as they discussed the event and shared many laughs with one another.
 
Lina Nela, Home Manager, commented: “A lovely afternoon was had by all Residents, and everyone enjoyed seeing the boats passing by. It was a perfect setting for Residents as the home is located by the river, and everyone was able to make the most of the glorious sunshine.”
