Residents at HC One’s Ilsom House care home spent the afternoon decorating pebbles and watching the sunflowers bloom in the garden.
Residents spent the afternoon at the Tetbury home using different coloured paints and stick on sparkles to give a beautiful finish to each of their pebbles.
Joyce, one of the Residents, was so pleased with her pebble she wished she could wear it as a brooch, but has proudly displayed it in her bedroom instead as it is too heavy.
Everyone is also delighted with the sunflowers that were previously planted, and are now brightening up the patio area.
It’s so lovely for Residents to go and sit in the garden on a sunny day and have the gorgeous bright yellow flowers to look at. It’s amazing to see them now after they began their life as just a seed in pot in the ledge of the home.
