Residents at HC-One’s
Tenlands, residential and nursing care home, in County Durham have had the special task of judging a Christmas card competition.
Cleves Cross Primary School, in Ferryhill asked if one of the Residents would pick out a winner for the Christmas card competition.
Resident Hilda Davison aged 103 loved being involved. She said it was a really hard competition to judge as all the entries were amazing. The beautiful Christmas scene was her favourite.
Hilda, commented, “This has made my day, I love being part of something so special to the children.
Jill Morton-Carr, Care Home Manager, added, “It’s amazing that in these trying times we are able to still have some involvement with our wider community, it’s very important to us.”
