Spirited staff at HC-One’s Silverwood Care Home came up with a novel idea to help Residents in the home get “out and about” and trigger some happy memories.
Residents donned virtual reality headsets and headed off to a variety of locations including the beach, farms and even a cat café!
Residents were thrilled and amazed that they could explore so many places from the comfort of the home.

Silverwood is located in Flanderwell Lane and offers short and long-term care to elderly members of the community needing Residential and Residential Dementia Care.
