Tameside Residents enjoy first trip out in over a yearToday some Residents of the Beeches residential care home, in Dukinfield, took a trip to Holmfirth for some lunch and a little window shopping.

Residents Norah, Kath and Barbara enjoyed walking around, looking at shop window displays, admiring the old buildings and churches and indulged in an outside pub lunch.

All ladies had a lovely morning and they haven’t been on a trip out for over a year so they were very happy to be out enjoying the lovely weather and fresh air!

As a group, the ladies enjoyed hot beef muffins and fish and chips for their lunch.

On the way home, they enjoyed the beautiful views on a lovely sunny day.

Sade Smith, on the wellbeing team, said, “It’s been nice to take the Residents out for lunch and get some normality, I have enjoyed spending time looking round and seeing the ladies smile.”
